Add role to Windows Server 2012

The procedure is same on Windows Server 2008 so this tutorial you can use on this server. I made this tutorial by adding DHCP role to server, because next tutorial will be about this service.

First login to server with appropriate credentials. In Server Manager window select Add roles and features  (Slide 1.).

Then check first check box, Role-based option and select Next (Slide 2.).

Verify your server from list of servers, select Next, and check DHCP Server server role on next window (Slides 3 and 4.).

Add features as it`s asked on new window and select Add Features button (Slide 5).

Acknowledge information on following window and select Next (Slide 6).

Select Install on next screen and follow the installation. After installation is finished select Close (Slide 7 & 8).

Now you are ready to configure DHCP server. Please, have in mind that your server should have static IP address due to consistence of DHCP server location.
