Enable System Restore on Windows 10

Despite previous versions of Windows operating system, in latest version – Windows 10 Microsoft decided to disable System restore by default. Please enable this feature in order to protect your self and restore system files to previus version.

Here is how to enable it:

  1. Press SEARCH in windows toolbar and type CREATE

  2. Click on CREATE A RESTORE POINT and SYSTEM PROPERTIES will start. Select desired Hard drive where you want to store RESTORE POINT ( usually drive C: is used for this ). Then click CONFIGURE.

  3. Click TURN ON SYSTEM PROTECTION and use slider to determine Maximum usage of Hard Drive space. Click APPLY and OK.
    Step 4 Turn on system protection

System protection is now activated on Windows 10.
