Well, there is not much of installation. I was just curious, is there any difference in installation process from last version(s). Absolutely non. Good, old Ubuntu installation for desktop users.
Ubuntu 15.10, code named Werewolf, is around since late October 2015. and we will talk about improvements later. Let start with installation. I have created virtual machine and mapped .iso file I downloaded. If you are using desktop or laptop please create bootable DVD or flash stick.
First screen is classic. Choose wizard language and hit Install Ubuntu (Slide 1).
In next screen Ubuntu is checking hardware requirements and internet connection. I left third party installation and updates unchecked because I will talk about it lately (Slide 2).
I have choose clean installation and checked first option on slide 3.
I wrote changes to disk by choosing Continue (Slide 4.).
Choose your time zone, keyboard layout and press Continue (Slide 5 & 6).
Please fill out credentials shown on slide 7 and press Continue. Please, notice that you can check option to Log in automatically. I strongly don`t recommend that option.
Installation will start automatically after you press Continue. After installation is finished you need to restart you new Ubuntu 15.10 (Slide 8.).
Now you can use your Ubuntu.
Download .iso file from this location.
I hope that this tutorial was informative to you and thank you for visiting this website.
