Recently I received new laptop, which due to corporate policy have Windows 7 installed. Last one I had, was equipped with 3 GB of RAM. New one have 6 GB. When I start to adjust new laptop for my need, I noticed lack of Hibernate option in Power Options.
I am sure that my old laptop has this option. I start to dig, and I find out that this is common issue on Windows 7. Than I start to looking for and I find solution.
Please locate your Start button, then go to Run box and type cmd. Then type powercfg -h on. Switch -h on is starting you Hibernate option. Restart your laptop, and you will then have your Hibernate option (Slide 1. & 2.) .
