Reason I placed this tutorial in Windows 7 section is just because I`m using that OS. Windows Image resizer is working on any Windows OS from Windows 7 above. It`s third party application and it`s awesome. So many times I found my self in situation that I have to resize bunch of images in few clicks, but I never had application suitable enough.
First thing first. Please download and install application from this location. Moment you install, resizer becomes a part of your file system. You see on slide 1. that I marked photo with about 400kb (1600*900px). Right click on picture you want to resize (Slide 2.) and choose Resize pictures.
Image Resizer dialog gives you enough options for predefined sizes or let you enter custom dimension. I entered 1024*768. After that select resize (Slide 3.).
Please be aware of option that override your previous picture. In case you want to keep original picture uncheck Replace the original checkbox. After the job is done you can see that picture is smaller and about 229kb (Slide 4.).
Image resizer gives option for bulk image re-sizing. Just select multiple images and repeat procedure.
I hope that this tutorial was informative to you and thank you for visiting this website.
